ORBITAL

The bitforge-developed app Orbital is a fun, great looking game that has been highly praised by the media. Here are the main things I thought you may want to know about the game:

The gameplay
The goal in Orbital is to destroy the orbs. You start off by shooting orbs from your cannon. These orbs will expand until they touch the outside wall or until they touch another orb. The number 3 is displayed on each orb; hit an orb and it will display the number 2; hit it again and it will display the number 1; hit it another time and it will explode. When that happens you earn points.

There are three game modes to try out: Gravity, Pure, and Supernova. You can play in single player mode or in two player mode. You can post your score on Facebook.

The graphics
I have to say that from a visual point of view, this game is amazing. I could go on and on about how the game looks like, but that would hardly get my point across. So for better results, I have included a video preview of the game; you can check it out below, at the bottom of this article.

The game is available for purchase in the App Store for $2.99 at the time of writing this.
It is also available for purchase in the Android Market.

The conclusion
Entertaining gameplay that could go on forvere, polished looks, and smooth controls? I don’t see what’s not to like about this game.
